anythink felt i would not wash in the machine, I would either soak and lay flat to dry, blot excess water with towels, or depending on what it is, also, you can put in a large plastic bag with cornmeal and shake very hard to clean dust and dirt off, like toys, or decoratiive scarves, etc.

I don't think you should be washing felt at all, it does not like water.

I would think gentle cycle and cold water. Hand washing might be better if possible.

you will wash it in cold water. then let it dry on a line not in the dryer

ice cold water. no softener. woolite or norit. 1/2 load. no spin.

dry flat.
