If you are putting it on your skin anything with deet and all OFF products are bad. Don't EVER use them, even though they help repell mosquitos they are bad for you, they have been known to cause cancers. Skin So Soft used to make a mosquito repellant but I'm not sure if they do anymore, but theres is 100% safe.

When we lived in the Northern Territory Australia we used a mix of baby oil, dettol, citronella oil (the essential kind) and water, put it into a spray bottle and shake until it goes thick and white then spray on. This works really well, dosent contain chemicals and defeated NT mozzies which are huge and hungry!

katie is 'kinda' right,, skin so soft by avon does make a skeeter repellant now,, but the old regular stuff works great too, been using it for years!!!citronellas are good but don't last long,, deet is great but needs to be used with caution, especially on kids,,those who eat a fair amount of garlic are less likely to be bit than others,,,

Mosquitoes become a nuisance when they enter homes.

You can get rid of mosquitoes by using pest control.

Chemistry is very rich in relellant compounds. If you prefer natural products just look for "essential oils" and find one that is no friend repellant.
