There isn't a home remedy that will work. You can purchase commercial rust removers that are oxillic acids that will remove rust. But for the cost of that, you could just buy new sheets. If it's a small, not too dark spot, lightly buff with steel wool. You could try to make your own acid. Try some clear cola and lots of lemon juice, soak in extremely hot water.

Try the Clorox bleach pen. It worked great on my coffee stained white table cloth.

Get some bicarbonate of soda and boil wash it. Either that, or buy some Ace Bleach for laundry and leave it to soak in it.
