if bleeding the rad does not work, and it is only noisy in one room ,it could be that the pipes are vibrating against the floor joist
(lift floor boards where needed and put some form of wadding between ie old rags)

Can be caused by one of two things. Actually no could be any one of 3 things.
1. Air in the pipes.
2. The hot water going through could pipes causing the pipes to expand.
3. The fact that you keep hitting a pipe with a book, and every time you do it goes gurgle. Answer - stop hitting pipe with book.
Suggest you bleed radiator - it may be the end radiator in the system, so the air generally collects there.

i believe the other answers will work but i have seen a thing that one can screw onto the pipe exiting your water heater which does something to the air in the pipe perhaps the same will apply for central heating -phone a plumbing supply place or electrican from your ph book and see if they know about it

Have you tried bleeding your radiators/system of air!
Simple 5 minute job. Turn off heating pump. Use radiator key and loosen top bleed screw. Hold a rag underneth unless you want crud all over your carpet. Keep open until only liquid comes out. Air in system will make a hissing noise as you open the bleed screw. Do it to all your rads and try to start at the one nearest the pump.
If you are in the UK your pump normakky has a bleed screw on it as well.....right in the middle front....black plastic nut...same as above..loosen and let air out.

You will have to lift the floorboards in that bedroom and secure the pipes so they don't rattle.
