We are a block of 24 flats with TV ariel provided by the Limited Company we have formed but we are often asked to put right problems experienced by individual sets.Apart from this what will we be expected to do when the anologue signal stops? There is Cable connection to each flat.

Virtually without exception its will be the owners of the leasehold of the flats that have the problem not the individual flat owners.
Effectively if the tv connection is shared then its a common part.. the repsonsbility of the management company.

if you are having problems then Id guess that the TV aeriel installation is not right. either the aeriel is too small, or incorreclty sited. it may need a signal amplifier. the best solution is to get a reputable aeriel companmy in and fix the problem once and for all.

Ive seen this sort of issue before when a bad aeriel set was completed, fixing one persons reception may come at the cost of others (literally Ive seen others disconnected to improve someoneelse's signal).

As reagrds the switching off of analogue TV.. that may be a problem but agian if the aeriel is properly installed now it shouldnt be.

An alternative may be for the managemnt company to agree that the TV areiel is bolluxed and put it to a vote.. get soem quotes in for repairs or say cable only TV from now on...

I think you will have to look into your contract. When the switch over to digital occurs, look into getting rid of your ariel. It won't work. Since all units are wired for cable, the unit owners can either subscribe to cable or consider using dish antennas for satellite TV.
