Most "contents insurance" policies cover freezer contents - this is your best bet. I suspect that they will say that as the power was only out for 10 hours the contents of the freezer would be unaffected - unless you opened the freezer and left the door open - most freezers will withstand a 12 hour power outage without the food spoiling.

We presently stay in a 2 gadget government. Wall street and loan agencies are not in basic terms there for the individuals that qualify for domicile mortgages. while someone would not qualify for a house loan by way of a financial corporation or loan business employer (and that i'm no authentic sources economist so which you already know your pastime greater useful than me...yet i'm a political scientist/public coverage recommend so here is what i've got been thinking approximately that has yet to be reported) HUD and section 8 Housing is a sort of socialized government. community American Soveriegnty Acts which permit loans interior a tribal government are varieties of socialized government. foodstuff Stamps and Indian allotments are varieties of socialized government. Medicaid/quicker Care and local American loose well being care are varieties of socialized government. All of those issues are paid for via a source. Tribal Governments pay for his or her social classes with money accrued interior the tribal self determination classes (ie: casinos). the U. S. Federal government will pay for his or her social classes with loans from banks and taxpayer money. as an occasion: sources taxes fund the colleges interior the specified areas. here is the place i've got faith the Republican Congress crossed the line and how they're in charge for the disaster that many (however a lot of people don't sense the discomfort from Wall street, particularly if we are community American) are feeling immediately. while Congress enacted HUD/section 8, quicker Care, foodstuff stamps, and different social classes that would earnings the persons tfalling under a reported poverty point they had to get the money from someplace and because taxpayers seem to frown on taxes the money replaced into borrowed from banks. lenders mutually with Lynch and AGI post BIDS to work out who the government chooses to borrow from. the comparable lenders that turn us down interior the beginning up are those lending the federal government classes the money by using fact Republican legislations caters to an open marketplace and because there is no regulation interior the uncomplicated marketplace there is no longer something for banks to lose. they do no longer desire to furnish persons credit in the event that they think of the guy won't be able to pay yet they nevertheless make their earnings off of the guy by way of government classes and if the guy fails to pay then this gadget is in charge no longer THE LENDER and that's the place taxpayer money comes decrease back into the image. Peace Obama 08* would the main suitable guy win

Not from your power supplier you won't.

However check your contents insurance, hopfully should be something in there stating that if the power is off for more than 'X' amount of hours you are entitled to claim if frozen food is ruined!

No because something like that is caused by storms which is an act of God. Now if someone caused the power to go out that might be a different story.

I believe you'll find that most Courts have held the utilities blameless for power failure damages - since you only have to pay for power received. Insurance is most likely your best bet.

Only if you are personally insured for such things. You won't/can't get anything from the power company.
