I am looking for any brand of an LP gas (propane) water heater. The problem is it must have a diameter of 18 1/2" or less (preferabbly a little less) or it won't fir into the designated space. Does anybody know of one and where I can purchase it. Thanks.

I have plaster and lathe walls in my 1920's home and I am having a horrible time trying to hang anything. Either the nail breaks or a huge chunk of the plaster comes off. Does anybody have any ideas other than picture hangers (don't work) or adhesive products?

Tenants trashed the house, and now I have to get rid of a LOT of cat urine odor. I removed the carpet, and now I have to treat the subfloor.

How do I do it without destroying the partilce board subfloor?

A Costco opened up near me 3 months ago (the first in my state) and now that the Christmas displays are gone, they've been replaced by great looking wood furniture at great prices. But I know that looks can deceive. I like how a lot of The Bombay Co. furniture looks, but at heart it is cheap pressboard crap with a slick veneer. Is Costco's furniture also pressboard with a nice veneer? Or is it real wood all the way through?

I have many wine, coffee, and God knows what else kinds of stains on my beige carpet (I have clumsy family members and two children under 5). Paying to get the carpet cleaned did little good in getting rid of any of them.

What should I do? Thanks!!

Is it less stress on a washing machine to do more wash cycles with less clothes in each load, or more clothes with less washing cycles? Appliance salespeople are no help, since they disagree. Any ideas?

I have a lot of glass candle jars (Yankee, etc.) and they still have a tiny bit of wax in the bottom and around the sides all the way down. Am I supposed to throw away these jars or put them out in the recycling bin? I live in Pennsylvania.

I just bought a hollophane light fixture for my kitchen that is dated 1912. It has an adapter that I can use a regular light that screws out but what kind of light bulb would I use if I wanted to use the original socket?

This socket is bigger than the one that takes the adapter. I think that using a bigger bulb would give me maximum lighting in my kitchen.
