I did this - i washed a lambs wool golf jumper @ 90c and boy did it shrink! I thought i'd be kind and do some washing, but never again. Trust me i tried stretching it, putting over the back of a chair etc etc - but nothing. That jumper is doomed....

wash again by hand let soak in wool washing soap, rinse out sud´s add about 2 lid full´s of fabric conditioner ,whilst in the water stretch a little then do this several time´s, then take most of the water of the jumper lay on a large bath towel to drain out the rest of the water , change to another towel , keep stretching , then when you think it´s back to it´s normal size hang on a coat hanger to dry natural heat,

you cant, once its shrunk then it will never go back into shape, you can wash and try to stretch it back but it will never be the same again.

You cannot do it. The only hope you have is to take it to a dry cleaners to see if they can do anything. Why don't you contact your insurance company to see if you can claim for the cost?
