Something dark has got accidentally in with my light colours. Has anyone out there in 'answer land' got a solution for me to get rid of the grey mucky colour which now adorns my smalls. Have a great Xmas

There is some stuff you can get to soak your stained things in and it takes the colour out. Cant remember what its called and you'll probably not be able to get any til tuesday, but it does usually work. Only problem is it smells like cat pee. You should be able to get it from any supermarket

Check the labels on them and see if you can soak them in a bleach solution, but if you do dont dry them in the tumble dryer after, dry them on an airer.
Or after christmas you can get some 'Stain Devil' for washing accidents and dissasters.

Can you tell if it is greasy?

One forth cup of cascade dishwasher detergent and the normal amount of tide will take out grease stains.

My son grilled burgers at McDonald's and that is how I kept his clothes clean.

Good Luck and Happy Holidays.
