Your best answer will be in the form of a percentage, for example, if you replace 1 100watt bulb with a 26watt fluorescent you will save @75% of your energy. To put an exact dollar figure on something like that you would have to figure in many variables.
I replaced almost all incandescent lamps with the fluorescent type, I would guess I could be saving $10-$20 a month(that is approx 10-15% of my electric bill). Any lights that operate with a dimmer need to be incandescent. My wife leaves lights on like its her job.

We also have florescents in nearly every light fixture. (Approx 25 to 30). I do have 150 watt incandescents in the reading lamps.

In the summer our electric was running $325.00, our daughter and granddaughter moved out, we replaced our 25 year old refrigerator and fall came. (We are in Florida)
This last month the bill was $119.00. Praise the Lord. and Hallelujah.

We have had the all florescents for over 2 years but with the other factors were unable to notice the benefits.

The new fridge has huge energy benefits, but I didn't realize how much it would help reduce the bill.

Happy Holidays.

I do not have an exact answer, but I recently saw a post on an internet " investment" site about a guy who replaced EVERY bulb in his house....and two months later the Utility Company was at his door to check and see if he had somehow rerouted his wiring to avoid the meter!!
P.S. I got my wife about fifteen of them for Christmas...she would never pay $ 3.50 for a bulb, but she's always disgusted at the electric bill......we'll see what happens.
