A picture fell of my fridge and into a puddle of water and i didn't know it until an hour later. When i picked it up, the picture's reverse image is stained into the floor! I live in an apartment, so i gotta get it up! I tried a mr. clean eraser and i also tried 'rave' hairspray as someone suggested....but to no avail! It's still there! What can i use to get this off?

Seeking professional advice from fellow D.I.Y. folks. I am starting a complete bathroom remodel, What should I start ripping out first? We will still be using this bathroom off an on if needed, as a guest bathroom. Everything is coming out at one point. But I am not sure where to start. I am replacing or getting rid of the half paneling, the lighting, sink and huge avocado green vanity & cabinet, toilet, floor, wall paper under the 3 or 4 layers of paint, ceramic tile in the shower, and finally the bath tub. What would you start with??

Can anyone offer input on how to fix it? I have to go in and manually move it and attempt to restart the spin cycle... sometimes to success and sometimes to failure. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My mom has this heavy king sized bed stand that she wants to get rid of. It was over $3,000 and still very brand new looking. Is there a place I can call that will come and pick it up for free?

I am looking at a log house and it has a greenhouse on the property, 17 acres and a detached garage with an extra barn for storage. It has well water and a lagoon for a sewer system. That is the only thing i am not sure about. Serious answers only please.

Hi,

I have a Kenmore Pur Ultra Filtration System refrigerator. I am not using the water filtration system (I have not attached it to an external water outlet).

My refrigerator is not defrosting and lot of ice is accumulating. Anyone know's what the problem might be?

Also, is it a way to manually defrost it till I can fix the problem?

Thanks,

Ajay.

We used an adaptor to connect the two together near the top of the stove. We are experiencing backdraft fairly often. We were told that extending the length of the chimney on the roof would not help. We were also told that changing the adaptor (8 to 6) from the top of the stove to closer to the ceiling would not help. Are there any fixes other than buying a new wood stove. This one really heats our house nicely. Thank you for any help.

As part of a recent remodel of our San Jose, California home,we changed the garage door location of our standard 22'x22' garage from being south facing to west facing.
The problem is the original floor sloped slightly from the north end to the south end (difference : 1.5 inches) - and hence we now have this potential problem of water accoumulating at the new south wall.
The existing floor is in very good condition with the exception of small cracks here and there.
Any suggestions to re-slope the floor without a completely redo is highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
-ra

washing machine? Inside my washing machine smells horrid. I wash everything with good soap, bleach, and sometimes baking soda and vinigar - You'd think it would stay clean. But, alas, it doesn't, it stinks. I need to know how to clean it. Please give details. I have company coming and don't want people smelling my awful machine when they go back to use the restroom.

Thank you
