I personally would use a nail rather than a screw because the nail has a smaller diamiter shank than a screw. (less patch work when removed) The best way to hang something on the wall is to find the stud in the wall. It will hold the nail and keep it in place better than just nailing threw sheetrock.

If you're referring to its weight, use large sized picture hangers and screws into the studs. you get only one chance for the least amount of damage, so measure three or four times first!
If you mean position on the wall, use a paper template. Tape together several brown paper bags (opened up to the inside, non-printed side). Fiddle around with the pattern of frames on it. When you find a pleasing pattern, trace it on the paper. Then transfer the positions onto the wall.

First purchase frame hanging hardware . Next, put them in place with screws and make sure you have put screw shields in the wall first. If the frame is heavy, use two hooks so that the weight is evenly distributed.

There's a kind of sticky tack that you can use. I found some at A. I Freedman and it doesn't do that much damage to the wall
