washing machine? Inside my washing machine smells horrid. I wash everything with good soap, bleach, and sometimes baking soda and vinigar - You'd think it would stay clean. But, alas, it doesn't, it stinks. I need to know how to clean it. Please give details. I have company coming and don't want people smelling my awful machine when they go back to use the restroom.

Thank you

sounds like you have a bacteria build up in either the lint filter or the drain hose. what might work is to fill the tub with hot water and a couple cups of bleach. let it run a full wash, rinse, and spin cycle. if this doesn't solve the problem, you may need to call a technician.

Leave your lid open to allow the tub to stay dry. Your water may be what is stinking. Do the cup of bleach to a full tub and then leave it open. I think there is something wrong with the drainage of your machine...if the open lid doesn't work, call your landlord. It may not look good with visitors, but it's better than the stink. Baking Soda in the dry tub may work too. Good luck and Merry Christmas. Nana

take a rag and a wire coat hanger and work it down the drain pipe hook another hanger to that an so on and so on. It will come out nasty but will work . Make sure that every thing is twisted together real secure because if you lose the rag it will block the drain
