I want to have a cosy and girly room.. But i dont know how to go about doing it. I've got a square room. Lookin at it from the door, the door is at the bottom right hand corner. In front of the door, is a 4-door closet built in against the wall. In the middle of the room, at the top of my square room, is my queen sized bed. My walls are of a soft pink colour, the closet is a faded pink, the head board of the bed is of a dull pink, i've got a wooden flooring. Now, what else can i add to my room to let it have a cosy feel?

The people who live behind me are kind of unfriendly-I thought I'd just plant bamboo along the back fence. I rent, so I don't want to put up a wooden fence.

I know when you get a down comforter it has a "smell" What is the best way to get rid of the smell, just let it air out?? How long will it take for the smell to go away. Also would it hurt it to put it in the dryer with some fabric softener sheets??

We just moved my washing machine to a new house and now it fills but won't agitate or anything else. I took out everything - but the water - and now don't know how to reset the overload or unbalance switch to reset it. Can you tell me how to find it. I didn't find it in the owners manual. Or, could it be something else, all electrical is ok.

I bought a pointsettia plant and I put it on the mantle in my house. How often do I have to water it and would it be better to be outside? Does it need sunlight?

My galley kitchen has several cupboard doors, each is covered in natural Jarrah (a dark West Australian hardwood) veneer. The cupboards are at least 10 years old with just a few water splash marks here and there.

Rather than just replacing the doors all together using modern synthetic laminates, how else can I bring back the life to my cupboard doors? I have experimented with vegetable oil in a few places and the results are okay but I need something more durable.

Could I use diluted linseed oil perhaps? Any other ideas or suggestions please?

It is way in there and stuck. It is fairly the size of a ball that is found underneath in a computer mouse. It was not fully in the drain and I tried to take it out with a hangar but it end up falling in further.

I have a Kenmore washing machine that makes a loud squeaking sound when it is fininshing up its spin cycle. It sounds like a brake is being applied probably to stop the spin cycle. But when it stops it makes a very loud squeal. Only when completing its spin cylcle.
