They're about 20 years old. The former owners just painted them with a sloppy job. They're white and I just like natural wood color. Is it better to just get a pro?

Does Walmart sell those EcoSphere things? An ecosphere is kind of like a fishbowl, and its got a piece of wood, and pebbles and stuff in it.

Hello, I have a question about pressure treated wood. My uncle is building a smokehouse and is using pressure treated wood for his posts. Is this dangerous ? He already dug and installed the posts they are 11ft tall. If there is a potential danger then i would like to stop him before he goes much further. Thanks

Once in awhile, after I dry a load of laundry, there are small spots that look like oil or grease stains all over the load. They especially show up on darker clothes. My Maytag washer is only 2-3 years old. What are they from?

Last night, a terribly loud noise was coming from the gas heater. Then, there wasn't any heat blowing. Previous days, I heard some squealing like a fan belt sound. The flames will all ignite, and the thermostat seems ok. Is it practical to just replace the blower by a technician? Now there's and intermittent slight buzzing noise to the motor. It's an "American Standard" furnace.

The lower leaves of my african violets are dying. They are getting soft and drooping and turning brown. The soil is moist but the room they are in does not have much light at all. Could that be the problem? I also recently took some leaf cuttings from these. Four leaves from each of my 3 plants. Could that have shocked it too much? They were not teeny plants, but not huge. I got them in 4 inch pots and repotted them into 6 inch pots.

They are not near a window so I worry that maybe light is an issue, but I could not find any information online that could tell me that. Help please? I dont want to loose them!!!
