I plan on buying a venus flytrap soon (finally, fufilling my childhood dream! lol!) and I would like to know, seeing as how I don't have many insects in my house, do I have to feed it insects? Will it die if it doesn't recieve a considerable amount? And for my final question, do they eat crickets and grasshoppers? Because if they do, I can just pick up some from my local pet store. And please, only answer this question if you know the answer, no assumptions. Thanks for all of the answers!

Our yard was sprayed about 3 weeks ago by a lawn service for preemergent winter weeks. The same day it was sprayed, an odor could be smelled. We now have this odor in our entire yard and items stored in an outbuilding also smell like it. I can "taste" it and "smell" this odor even when I am not at home. HELP!

you will be surprised and it may put you off paying that much for them when the manufacturers alternatives are the same but much much cheeper

Just spend over an hour stringing up lights on my tree outside. They all worked before I put them on, but now they refuse to light up. How the hell can I get them to work?

We have a septic tank. After some time with no smell, we now have a sewage-type odor coming up out of the bathroom sink. We do not notice it from the bathtub drain. Tank was pumped out in the last year or so, and we have used a tank treatment to keep good bacteria working on the sewage. What should I do next?

My water heater is less than 1 yr old. It is a gas heater with spark ignition. Recently, the pilot/flame went out for no apparent reason. When I try to relight the pilot and turn on the gas, the flame and pilot stays on for a minute or so and then shuts off. What might the problem be?

I am considering the Tomboy Tools Company. As a Consultant I would host a party for women to come, view and learn a skilled technique with hand tools that they can purchase. My husband and I have experience with renovation projects. One of the requirements to be a consultant is that you have to know how to use tools and have experience doing basic home projects.

My Mom is tired of paying coin operated machines in her building and they are always being used. She asked me if she could wash the clothes in the dishwasher by hanging them on the rack.

I told her that dishwashing detergent might be too harsh of the fabric and using Laundry detergent in a dishwasher could cause the dishwasher to oversud.

What do you think

We are in the process of building a new house and just have had the plumbing done (water is not on yet). Our 3 year old son went up to the newly installed piping and turned on the valve and a blast of air went right into his face. I was wondering how high the PSI would be for something like this and if it could hurt his eyes.

So I went to do laundry today and it looks like someone left a bunch of reds in the dryer...without turning it on because they are soaked. There was ONE purple shirt in there that just decided to bleed all over everything else. I seperated them by major colors (reds, pinks, and lights) and hung them over different chairs. I'm not sure how many days they were in the dryer like that. Can they possibly be saved if they have not been dryed? Should I rewash them? Any help would be wonderful.
