Depends on which ones yu want, many trees produce seeds in abundance, and you can get them for free or just dig up and replant seedlings. There are a number of good seed suppliers online, just do a search for them. I have grown many trees and bushes from seed, but mostly ones I collected. Have purchased some tree seed but be aware that many tree seed are quite hard to germinate, or may take a period of refrigeration and then germinate very slowly--taking a year or more for some.

It depends what kind of trees you want to grow. Some varieties, such as pine, produce lots of tiny seeds (they're in the pine cones); you can go to a park and pick up the cones and get the seeds yourself. Or you could ask a landowner for permission to collect a few seeds in the fall, if they have a tree you are interested in. If you "Add Details" to your question, I could be more specific about certain kinds of tree seeds. Rare varieties of seed would always be more expensive than common, plentiful varieties.

there are a lot of species there .. most trees produce so many seeds that you can usually have all you want for the pickin, i.e.: I planted a bushell of pears that a leighbor gave me to get an old fariety propagated ..tilled a 200 ft row and got enough to make a full acre of orchard. But some trees don't make viable seeds, so you have to propagate by soft wood cuttings or grafting.

About 50% to 100% more than normal flower seeds dependant upon the variety selected.

I grew a load of Bonsai from seed and got about 15 species for £30.

Chances are you'll have to go on the net to buy them or have a really good Garden Centre who can make the effort to get them.

If buying direct from overseas check out customs restrictions or the whole lot could get destroyed on you !

Just pick a seed off a random tree! We've got enough acorns falling of our oak to plant a forest!
