get a piece of wire and simply run it to wherever you want and solder it to your system you have

You need alot more info then this. What will this antenna be hook up to?
TV,Scanner,WIFI,radio?
AM you just need a 35 foot copper wire
FM 5 feet
For UHF I use to find some drift wood and screw in a loop antenna add two leads to the TV

Best bet is to use an aliens head gear. Shootem with a scatter-gun and be certain not to damage the antenna on their head.
