We just moved my washing machine to a new house and now it fills but won't agitate or anything else. I took out everything - but the water - and now don't know how to reset the overload or unbalance switch to reset it. Can you tell me how to find it. I didn't find it in the owners manual. Or, could it be something else, all electrical is ok.

There is no switch, you just have to run it through a cycle, make sure all is balanced and the washer is sitting properly leveled.

there isn't one anymore, wish i knew why they stopped using them. don't want to imply any thing here, but sometimes it is the simplest things that are the problem. check the settings on the switches first. next, try another cycle on the timer, just in case the timer went bad in the usual cycle. did you level the machine when you put it in the new house? the procedures will be in the owners manual. you need to empty the water if you have to do that again. try a pan or large cup from a fast food place to remove the water to a bucket. then follow the steps in your manual for leveling it. when you try to run it again, after all of these steps, run the machine on a small load setting. that way you'll have less water to empty if it still doesn't work. at that point you will have to consider that something happened to it during the move. a repair person will likely be your best bet at this point as you will not recognize what isn't correct inside the machine. good luck in your new home, and happy holidays!

Always give the brand name at least. Select spin and see if the
water drains, if so and the washer fills with water, but stops and
wont wash - the water level switch is probably defective. Since
you moved it, I doubt that that is the problem - a wire has probably shaken loose someplace. Send me an email and ill
see if I can help you.

There is no "re-set" switch on it. If it won't go through a cycle then there's something else wrong with it. Something must have happen during moving. Check everything over real good. Maybe something landed on the switch by mistake and broke it?

99% chance your lid switch is broken. Check the tab on the lid and make sure it's still there. then depress the switch with a pencle. You should hear a slight click.
