odor in demin smells like lighter fluid

My niece is on a vinegar kick. It does eliminate a lot of Oder's. The demin couldn't get no worse. Try soaking in a vinegar and water mix. Or just washing them with half cup vinegar added to the wash. Good luck and let us know if you get the odor out.

I know this sounds strange but use charcoal.You know the kind that you use for cooking out! get 2 plastc sacks like you get at the dept stores.Put charcoal in one and putthe clothes in the other. lay the sack down filled with clothes ontop(inside) the one with charcoal and tie it up!That way the clothes don't get dirty from the charcoal. Let sit 1-2 days and the smell should be gone! Good luck!!!

I hate to say it, but if you have washed them 3 times without getting rid of the smell, then douse them the rest of the way and finish the job with a match....
