The deep freezer is a chest top type, in really clean condition, looks brand new & was working fine when I first saw it. In fact, the inside walls were frosty!! After moving it home, I plugged it up & nothing happened.... it will not cool. Is there a reset button or something else preventing me from getting it to work agian!?

I have a condensing gas furnace that makes crackling noises after it shuts off. It also sounds like the sound of water dripping on the inside, down below, near the pump.. Can anyone tell me what is causing these sounds on my high efficiency furnace?

My house has settled quite a bit and is showing signs of leaking in some places up stairs. My floor is dropping where my stairwell is. I am seeing cracks in my bathroom floor and walls through out my original part of the house.

My friend insists that pressing harder on the vacuum attachment while cleaning the stairs results in the vacuum picking up more junk (cat hair, etc.). Is this true? I was under the impression that a vacuum has more than enough suction to pull cat hair out of the carpet without my help.

I would like a parisian theme, i've found black & white paisley print sheets from target for $25. I'm on a budget, and need a comforter with accessory pillows for a good price. It does not need to be pink poodles or childish.

Well, I grew up in this house. I ended up living here with my dad until he passed 2 years ago. It feels depressing here, but my husband and dog and so forth keep me feeling better. The inside is nice, but the bathroom and kitchen and porch needs some work. It has 14 rooms, including only one bathroom. It needs to be rewired for safety reasons and the outside needs a lot of work to look really nice. I live on a farm, back a lane and no one really sees it except for the farmers we lease the land to and a few friends and family. I just want something more, since I have a good job now and land to work with. I could rent it out and build a home. We have one rental house on our farm already--getting 300 a month for that one. This is a small, rural town and I could not rent this one for more than 450 most likely--although it is in much better condition. Should I save more money by not fixing it up so that I can later build a new one or should I fix this up? What do you suggest? :)

I have an angel that sits atop my christmas tree. It came with a 10w12v halogen bulb, but I can't find that anywhere at my local stores... the closest I can find is a 20w12v. Can I use that because the volts match? The instructions say 12v only but it doesn't mention a wattage...

My electric guitar is buzzing on the higher frets, so I've decided to tighten the truss rod to correct all the fuzz. But, I've heard that if you over-tighten the truss rod and you can snap your guitar neck--I don't want that to happen. Is there any way for me to determine the stress limit of the truss rod save having my electric snap in half?

I have a single-knob Moen faucet at my lavatory sink. It's slowly gotten very hard to pull the knob out and push it back in. Otherwise, it works fine.

What can I do to make it easier to use?

I don't like to use bleach for cleaning because it's irritating to the senses and always gets on something. However, it's that time of season and I need to clean some pesky mold. I was thinking about going after it with a scrub sponge and some dish soapy water, and then spraying it afterward with Lysol disinfectant. Anyone have any better suggestions?

I heard of a system where you lay out wood, cover it with chicken wire, cement it, put fiber glass over it, then shower it with sand and small rocks so it looks like a large stone.

Please, give me step by step instructions on how to do this professionally. Also without having to buy large expensive stones. I'm looking for a detailed guide on how to make this fake rock waterfall.

Thank you.
