I would like a parisian theme, i've found black & white paisley print sheets from target for $25. I'm on a budget, and need a comforter with accessory pillows for a good price. It does not need to be pink poodles or childish.

There are always thrift stores and Value Village. Homesense or Ikea can offer cheap bargains. Shipping costs are high for anything online. Keep watch on Sears.com for discount items. If in Canada try http://www.hbc.com/landing.html for discount items. I love shopping but bought most of my items by watching all the sales and catching in-store sales. If you know someone that sews they can make the cheapest pillows for you in any color. The websites below are for no-sew pillows so you can still get wonderful pillows.

Does Target have a matching or coordinating comforter to go with the paisley sheets?

If not, I think you should go with a solid, something very plain and simple. I'm thinking a red or a bright, royal purple. If you can buy the bedding pieces separately from Target, you could buy just a pair of pillowcases. From these, you could sew a few throw pillows - maybe trimming them with a ruffle or a cording, with the color of your comforter.

You know those message boards with the criss-crossed ribbons that hold notes and photos? You could make one of those, using ribbon in the colors of your bedding and comforter.

Add a couple of accessories in your accent color to your dresser top or chest of drawers or whatever you have in your dorm room.
Here's where you can do some tbudget shopping - check out thrift stores, Goodwill, Salvation Army, etc..

Oh, this thought just came to me - J. C. Penney used to have some solid color bedding and comforters.

I would not invest too much if I were you. You may want to change it all out at some point, and you don't want to be stuck with costly items you feel you must get your money's worth out of.

Good Luck!

You're in luck, black and white was just the in thing for decorating in North America, so if you stick with that colour scheme, you should find plenty of choices in just about every store you go to.

However, for specifics? Well, it depends where you live.

Linens 'n Things, Ikea and Sears exist in several places.

There's also Bed Bath & Beyond, Target, KMart, WalMart, etc., etc.

I found alot of really cool comforters and things along that line at Goodwill. I always take them and wash them at a laundrymat and then get them drycleaned and they are as good as new. I got my son a $120 bedding (sheets, pillow cases, and comforter, and bed skirt) for $12. There was absolutely nothing wrong with it.
