HI.. How do I get scotch tape off of a desk. Its not wood. Its one of these formica topped tables we use at work..any suggestions would be helpful!!

Carefully remove the cellophane. Keep in mind that a razor or other tool may scratch the surface of the desk. Once the cellophane has been removed, there will be a sticky residue left on the desk. Either WD-40 (which I prefer) or Goo-Gone applied to the residue will soften it to the point that it can be wiped away.

You could very carefully scrape the tape off using a flat razor blade. If that doesn't work, you could also try Goo-Gone, a citrus oil based cleaner that removes adhesives.

soak with wd-40 then remove

Put some water on it and the glue dissolves..

Direct sunlight, or a hair blower/heat gun.
