Propane Direct Vent heater that is vented to the exterior and brings in it's own make-up air right to the unit. You can also use a ventless
heater as long as it is equiped with an oxygen-depletion sensor that will shut off the unit if the air in the room drops to an unsafe level. I would use use the first if it's possible for you.Install CO detector.
Make sure you get a permit and have it inspected by your local Bld Inspection and receive the approved report so you can file it with your insurance company. Keep warm.

There is no such device that I am aware of.
All fuel-burning heaters emit a health hazardous substance in the air, which is why you only see indoor electric heaters. Gas appliances must meet specific requirements set by national, state, city, and in some cases community administrations in order for them to be considered "safe" to use indoors.
Furthermore, all indoor gas appliances MUST have adequate ventilation.
