I have a wood burner. It has a blower on it that heats the home. However it wont get past 64 degrees, and thats still too cold. I am using dry wood, but its burning u ptoo quick. What can I do to make the heat last longer and burn hotter??

I bought tulips bulbs to split with a friend. I got mine planted, but she didn't. They're suppose to be planted before first freeze. It snowed and froze yesterday, what do I do with the bulbs that didn't get planted?

I am worried about dirty vents in our house. Its winter and we are using the central heating. I want to ensure that the air that is coming out of those vents are clean but don't know the right people to call to do this...also...to clean the attic where the main heater is located.

THey are also tall and skinny - they've not been trimmed - I don't think- ever. We are selling our house in the summer and I want the yard to look nice and neat - I don't really have a big concern about the blooms this spring - not as much as the shrubs looking tidy. Thanks!

How can you tell?
When visting friends homes i always notice a distinctive smell.. either good or bad. When i walk into my own home i don't smell anything, except if i've sprayed air freshner or have candles burning. I do have a pet dog who occasionally comes inside.

How can i really tell what my house smells like. I'm having guests and family for Christmas and i don't want my house to stink without me even knowing!

Ok, so my bf and I are having a Christmas party at his apartment for like 20 of his college friends. The walls in the living room are pretty plain so he wants to hang some picture frames up with prints in them. Some are collage frames, 4x6, 5x7, etc.
The problem is, what to print??
He wants some photographs of like cool buildings and stuff, background pictures, nature, etc.
I thought it would be cool to put pictures of penguins, snow angels, igloos, polar bears, snowflakes, snowshoes, etc.
We want all pics in black and white probably...
So what do you think??
