Yes the couch is ruined they will eat away at the wood and it will no longer be as strong as it once was.

it's a house of beetles now ... if you are too attached to the couch ask a terminators oppinion ... better yet ... get rid of it before it gets you ...

Toss it. By the time you notice a problem like that, the frame will have been irreparably damaged.

I don't think you can really get rid of them if the sofa is that infested..better toss it before they move on to another piece of furniture..

Try having it fumigated by a liscensed exterminator. He'll be able to advise you better.

Stick it in an enclosed space, like the garage, stick a couple of foggers in there and bomb that mf!
