This is my first time, my parents aren't here, and I can't figure it all out. I know I turn the knob to normal wash, but do I add soap to the machine? Where? Please help me, thanks in advance!

I want something that's fun (as in, NOT WHITE), but I already have bright red couches so I'm wondering, what GOES with that? I'm not worried about feeling relaxed, since that is where my family and I play and have fun.

I saved some phone books to make a Christmas tree out of it, but I can't figure out how to fold the pages, so it actually looks like a tree when I'm done.
Does anyone know?

I've hired a handyman in Los Angeles at a price of $50/hour. This seems reasonable to me, as it is less that you'd pay for a plumber.

Does anyone else have experience with a very good handyman in Southern California? How much have you paid?

Hi! I was changing the toner for my fax in the bathtub (it tends to explode when you finally get it apart) and it is all over the place! What is the best way to clean it out?

one month back I got an indoor jasmine plant. I think, i've added pretty much fertiliser to the new potting soil when replacing the plant to a little bigger pot with the perception that the plant will yield good flowers in this winter. But, the shoots and buds are drooling and eventually leading to drop off.I'll b helpful if you guys lemme know the best solution for this.I am damn worried about that plant.

I live in a cold place that is overcast most of the winter, and my apartment is situated so little direct sun gets in regardless. I've tried a few different kinds, but they always struggle in winter, and aren't as full and healthy as they were in my old place. Any suggestions?

...my fridge has broken down just after a month. Is this some kind of ploy to get people to spend more money to either replace or repair the dodgy product?

Should it roll over toward the front and come from the top, or come from the back of the roll, and be pulled from the bottom? This is a family dispute.

I have an OTT-LITE "daylight" fluorescent lamp and the ballast finally gave out (apparently this happens a lot). I have looked everywhere but I can't find a replacement ballast (model DMBL22). The people at OTT-LITE are not much help. It was a fairly expensive lamp and I hate to get rid of it seeing as I've only had it a few years.

HELP!

and thanks!

I noticed it when I was killing FL tussock moth caterpillars around my house and I did something a little, well... creative. It killed it instantly, and I realized I'd eaten a bowl of corn flakes -- and that whole BT corn flap was going on, is it safe to eat and how the pollen was blowing at crops intended for human consumption unintendedly. What is the current status on that from 2 years ago?
