My dad has asked for a pair of bedside lamps as his Christmas present....he is concerned about electricity bills so we have energy efficient bulbs through the whole house. Does anyone know where I can get a pair of bedside lamps that an energy efficient bulb would fit in? I'm in the UK

It is the bulb that makes the lamp energy efficient. You should be able to fit an energy efficient bulb in just about any lamp you choose. A sales clerk in a lamp retailer should be able to guide you in the right direction.

Good luck with your fathers' christmas present.

Try Bombay Company or their outlet shop. Their lamps are beautiful and would take energy efficient bulbs - that's what I have.
