I just received a Cyclamen plant and I know that it is not the best time to repot Cyclamen, but what is the best that I can do to ensure that my plant will survive?

I can turn the thermostat off and it still runs. If I shut off the breaker it will stop running, but as soon as I turn the breaker back on it starts running again. The heat/air doesn't stay on...only the fan.

This happened as the toilet lid smacked down and the little blighter was flushed away with it. What do I do - as it hasn't resurfaced - will it cause problems later on? Thankyou

The chairs are on wheels with a center post. Something in side of the post is either broken or loose. My room-mates Son-in-law, daughter, and grand-daughter all set in the chairs at one time. After that the chairs no longer set upright properly. When you set down in them they cause you to lean forward or back. You have to try to balance in them and it's very uncomfortable. I've been looking some place to get them fixed and all I can find are places to get them refinished. I either need someone to repair them or some place to buy the parts to fix them myself. If anyone out there knows of any place, please, let me know. Thanking you in advance!

i was wondering, does it hurt a worm? The other day, when it rained i picked up a worm from my driveway and threw it onto the lawn. then i thought to myself, "That would hurt us, but what about a worm?" Anyone have any answers?

does anyone know how to build a home bar? not a wet bar with a sink or anything, an L shaped bar. we just bought a house and the basement is already finished, i want to put in a bar with a back portion with a mirror and lighted shelves. i don't want a link for plans, can someone give me the steps in building one? 8 ft length front 4ft L, with a height of about 4 ft, we have a good amount of space so with dimensions we are flexible. is it a hard job?

I have a large garden overrun with 3ft weeds. I have applied a weed killer and want to stop them from growing back. I would alo quite like grass. Can I scatter grass seeds after the weeds have died, will this look okay? Do I have to treat the soil in a certain way? Can I just throw the seeds down? Can I do this now (winter)?
Basically I want a low maintainace weed-free garden!

Any help greatly appreciated- I am not a gardener as you can tell!

I have discovered what appears to be a small raised-glass bowl in the attic that was wrapped in newspaper dated from 1991 which was just three years before I moved into this house.

The raised-glass bowl has no marks or anything to indicate who made it or when it was made. I searched on google but came up empty-handed. Would anyone happen to know any sites that are dedicated to identifying dishware?
