I have discovered what appears to be a small raised-glass bowl in the attic that was wrapped in newspaper dated from 1991 which was just three years before I moved into this house.

The raised-glass bowl has no marks or anything to indicate who made it or when it was made. I searched on google but came up empty-handed. Would anyone happen to know any sites that are dedicated to identifying dishware?

This is my favorite website for identifying and valueing all kinds of china and glassware:

If your bowl is an antique, you may very well find information on it. If it is not very old, you may have a hard time finding specific information. As a last resort, you can take it to an antique dealer for identification. They are usually very knowledgable and will offer an opinion as to age and value.

I hope it turns out that you have a valuable antique.

Good luck with your search for information.

One thing you could do is take some pictures of it and place it on ebay or craigslist, let people bid on it and you will find out if it is worth anything. If the people left it behind it probably is not worth much, then again you may be surprised.

I am answering this so I can find it later on my page and see what the answers are.
I also asked about this as I too found a vase in my attic and am hoping it is not trash.
Good luck
