Specifically, I bought a house that came with one, the plug to the pump blew out and quite frankly the pool is just too big to have it in my medium sized yard. So between the fact that the pump is not currently working and I don't really like it anyways I would like to get rid of it. Its kind of old and not in great condition so after running it in the free pages for awhile I was wondering how I might go about disposing of it? Like I said earlier its very large, aluminum, and not in great condition. Where can I take it? Are aluminum pools recyclable? What’s the standard procedure for something like this?

I have some ivory satin shoes to dye burgundy. There is a dye available for satin shoes specifically but not in the colour I want. I looked on the internet for tips as to how to go about it & didn't find a consistant idea. Has anyone got any useful tips please? I've got the dylon multidye powder in the disc that you mix with water but have a distant memory as to the quantities being different from the instructions.

I want the ceiling to stay popcorn. I plan to paint the whole thing after I have repaired the area where the wall was. There are 2x4s running the length of the exposed area, and they will come down, which will leave a big area needing repair. There are no issues with support; already taken care of that. Any help will be appreciated! Thank you!

I'm trying to move out of my parent's house and would like some information from people who have moved out on their own at around age 19-20. I don't alot of money and have a stable job. Looking for something in the price range of $500-$600/month or hopefully something cheaper. Thanks in advance for your advice.

I painted a room and am getting bubbles in my last coat of paint....

The walls are plaster, I waited 24 hours after patching, 6 hours after priming and then 24 after the first coat..

used high quality primer and paint...which was well mixed

any ideas as to why this is happening?

I already told my insurance company. I bought a wet/dry vacuum too and vacuumed up all the water. To make matters worse, I live in a condo and it soaked her light fixtures and electrical wires. Should I call an electrician to go to her place or does insurance cover that? OH BOY...

We have a 1930 brick home with hot water radiators. The windows are orginal with very good storm windows. We had a 15" of insulation blown into the attic last year. Our bills are about twice as high as similar homes in our neighborhood with similar systems, square footage, etc. The electric bills do not seem unreasonably high, so I assume our insulation is decent. The gas company has checked for leaks and there are none.

My house makes this weird sound a few times a day. First, it will make a sound like the furnace is going on (but its not actually the furnace) then it sounds like pipes are rattling, then 3-4 big thumping sounds. I cant even find where the noise is actually coming from. Its not the furnace room. I think it has something to do with the pipes. My pipes were clogged before, so I used drano, and the pipes were clear and the noise went away. now, the pipes are still clear but the noise is back. any suggestions?

Last night, all of my roommates went out and I went to bed before any of them came back. Today I have someone who is possibly going to sublet my part of the apartment coming to look at it, and the apartment is a mess. Should I get mad, or should I just clean it up - They have 2.5 hours before she gets here.
