Some are recommended to grow as low as zone 4, however there are variety's that require a warmer climate and have a minimum requirement of zone 5 or 6 and up to zone 9. I would say it would be a risk.

I think so??? When I lived in Northern Okla. there were persimmons trees there. And also...I hope you know that persimmon fiber does NOT digest? If you eat a lot of them, it will attch to your stomach and the more you eat, the larger it gets. I very knowledgable doctor told me this!

no, its highly unlikely that it would survive more than a year. i think it would be a waste of your time and money.
