Yuo have to use a brown paper bag as it absorbs the wax. Don't have the iron up too high, just hot enough to melt the wax, and it should shift. Sorry but I don't know how to remove the picture of the iron you now have on your carpet tho!

It depends if the fibers are melted or if it's just wax . Melted fibers can't be fixed. If it's a long nap you may be able to snip the tips off...
If it's wax spilled on the carpet, use an iron on LOW heat with lots of paper towels to absorb the melted wax. if the iron is too hot, the carpet fibers will melt (see above)

Oh dear, its an hot iron and brown paper, not too hot obviously!
And now you have an iron mark, mmmm, seems like it's irredeemable.
If you are insured you can say the iron fell on the floor or summat.

properly i will't use ice dice on the carpet reason gained't artwork in any respect. different element i wouldnt use water wont artwork both reason it's going to make the carpet get moist and save the wax from the candle too sticken. so i'd attempt to se youre personal fingers to drag it off or if doesnt artwork then i'd use sissors to shrink it little bit to take off the dried wax from the carpet. no longer alot purely the section you note purely throw it away. purely bypass decrease back to the carpet to work out if there something lacking if no longer then even as she comes abode after her vacation she wont even releazie there wasnt something on the carpet in any respect.

Kitchen roll and iron it but you have to be careful you don't burn the carpet which you seem to have done already.Don't think you can fix that it'll have to be hidden under a rug or something else..
