I tried draino but i dont think that is what the problem is. I think its because there is no pressure behind it. Is there a fix, or someone else with this problem. Thanks

I recently moved to North Dakota from So. CA (don't ask...you do a lot of things for love!). The temperatures here are getting into the minuses at night; in the morning I find that I have either ice or frost INSIDE my windows. The casings are made of oak, so there's another problem. What do people do about this? I have a humidifier but it doesn't seem to do anything. Aside from changing windows in the summer, what are my options?

I have a 3 yearl old A/C coil on the inside of a duplex unit. The condensing unit outside has to be replaced. The coil is a 10 Seer. Of course you now have to have a 13 Seer. One A/C company said I have to replace both, the condensing unit as well as the coil because if I don't replace the coil to match, the liquid will run into the compressor & it will go out in about 5 years. A different A/C company said that I do not have to replace the coil & that it will only pull a 11 or 12 Seer. He said that is all that means. Who is right???

I have a Genie high end screw-drive opener. One that goes up real quick. I've had nothing but problems with my door getting stuck and now two of my pannels bowed (I think because of the high force). Should I go with another screw drive? Regular chain drive? Anybody had problems with a fast moving opener tearing up their door?

OK Here it goes and since I know nothing about chimneys this will not be easy. I have a small tudor style home. No fire place. Some time ago we were told our chimney was going to need repair/rebuild. That time has come. Our neighbor let us in there house so we could look out his second floor and our chimney is falling/crumbling. We were told by a contractor that they would ...
-repair the chimney from the roof top
-commomn brick
-remove debris
-permit included
$1575.00
I was wondering if this sounds like a resonable high/low price? I was also wondering if there is anything else we should be aware of, things to look for, questions to ask?
