these white bits could be from your washing powder that you use to put in the machine you may be using to much or your washing machine detergent compartment may be blocked with it you probably need to clean it out to prevent it form happening again.

Try emptying all the pockets before washing the clothes. Pull the pockets right out to get any bits out.

Could be cross contamination from other items in the machine possibly after a towel wash or maybe dried soap powder.
I find a good way to get rid of them is to use sticky tape like sellotape to to bring them off!

Tissues in the pockets or too much use of washing powder. Check all pockets before washing & change from a powder to a liquitab. I have no problems.

It's lint. It happens in the wash as clothes rub together. Putting your clothes in the dryer will remove most of them. Use a lint remover for the ones that don't. It's like a shaver for the clothes.

I've found that detergent doesn't disolve in cold water easily. I start each cycle in warm and allow a few seconds for the detergent to disolve before I turn the temp back to cold -- then add the clothes.

Get one of those clothes shavers to get it off.
Or toss it in the dryer w/ a big towel to help pull off the white bits. You must have washed a kleenex w/ your clothes.

It is probably the different type of materials or clothing that you are washing together.
Such as:
If you put towels with shirts then you can get lint or fuzzes on your shirts from the towels.
Hope this helps
