Husband and I moved into our house a little less than 5 years ago. Thinking of selling but don't really have the money to fix it up. We have lots of mildew and grout in the shower area, tile in one of the bathrooms is starting to come up, security gate on front door is shorter than the actual size of the front door>STUPID HOME DEPOT! and we have a crack in the master bedroom's mirror coset door! Landscaping great in the front, backyard not so great but good enough. Carpet has major stains due to my rambunctious toddler! What do I do??

I need to build a doghouse pronto--it's freaking cold here, which is very unusual. I found plans that call for styrofoam--is that really good insulation, or would I be better off going with fiberglass insulation or even shredded newspaper? It's in the low 30s, with windchills expected to reach the teens.

I'm looking for floor sized candle sticks (not the kind that hold mulitple candles and are made of thin metal). They need to be anywhere from 4 foot to 6 foot tall.

I got an estimate from a painter and this "kilzing" stuff is included as a service. I have no idea what this means.

I live on the east coast and it's been very mild. It is my first time picking out a Christmas tree and I don't know when to get it, sooner or later.

Any advice on keeping it fresh, hydrated, etc... is appreciated

Thanks

My dad wants a new circular saw for his birthday but when i went on home depot.com there were so many to chose from. Hes going to be using for home projects and such. I want to buy something middle of the road. Not cheap but not overly expensive either. How much power does he need? What size blade is common? Any help would be greatly apriciated!!

I want to construct a golf net in my backyard. Please tell me what type of wood/metal I should use, the dimensions, and how to put it together.

Please don't say go out and buy one because I've already done that, I'm just making this one for kind of a project.

I have a small office with a metal door that opens from the street to the inside waiting area. I often get to the office in the morning at the time of the appointment but the client might come early. Can I install a door lock that will unlock at a given preset timer ather than by just a key?
