Having read the latest information on part P regulations and not being in a special area i am asking this question.

Also the repair is on a like for like bases i dont have to inform any body.

QUESTION.

I wish to replace a small section of 2.5 t/e cable in a ring circuit due to the wire needing to be slightly longer going into the back of the socket

At present the cable is BLACK,RED,BARE COPPER (FOR SLEEVED EARTH)

The new cable is now BROWN, BLUE, BARE COPPER

Can i mix old/new cable colours together or do i have to place a notice for information?

I am looking for a sealer to put on oak lumber. This lumber is going on a wagon that is going to be outside all the time and is going to be exposed to the elements. I want the sealer to last a long time also.

I have a friend who owns 45 sheep, and I can have the wool for free. I have read about sheep wool insulation, and many companies sell it. I was wondering if the process is industrial scale or if my friend and I can make enough at home for our houses!

What do you have to do when you're taking care of a garden ? All I can think of is weeding and harvesting, but there have to be other chores as well . I'd mention watering, but a sprinkler does most of that /

I heat with a woodstove and electric baseboard heaters. I am thinking of putting in a furnace and with the price of oil and gas i might just get an electric F.A,the price is lower because there are no exaust pipes to put in to vent, there are no fumes to worry about, and the furnace itself is cheaper.I'm just wondering about operating costs. It gets very cold in the winter where i live.

It's only one year old and we have only used it twice. It is a gas blower and it is the type you have to mix the gas with oil. Well, we did that and changed out the gas since it had set up over the year. We used it last week and it worked fine. Now we can't get it to start. We can't take it back to the store for it has been over a year now but we have only used it twice. Also we did try putting in a new spark plug. I don't know what else to try. Any suggestions?

I read it's the trendy and fashionable thing to do is to have the blueprints of a recently built home framed and matted to hang as a picture. My question is what blueprint should you display. My parentes are building a new house and there are a ton of blueprints. I've seen it before in new homes. I wanted to give it to them as an xmas present but unsure what Blueprints to choose.

My bed is in an area in which I can't fit a whole box spring due to the doorways etc. (the mattress bends and can therefore fit). Is there such a thing as a foldable box spring that can fit through doorways easier, and if so where can you get them? Trying to avoid futons... Thanks.
