It's only one year old and we have only used it twice. It is a gas blower and it is the type you have to mix the gas with oil. Well, we did that and changed out the gas since it had set up over the year. We used it last week and it worked fine. Now we can't get it to start. We can't take it back to the store for it has been over a year now but we have only used it twice. Also we did try putting in a new spark plug. I don't know what else to try. Any suggestions?

I have found that when they set a long time they will build up of dirt in the muffler, you will have to take it apart and clean the screen inside.

Is your mixture of gas/oil correct?
Is the switch on?
Try using the choke.
Carburetor?

I bought a cheap weed eater from walmart and hardly used it and the carburetor was screwed, luckily my friend is handy at small engines and fixed it because a new one cost as much as the weed eater itself.

you might have flooded it. take the plug out and wipe it off and while you have the plug out pull the rope a few times to blow out any excess fuel. put the plug back in and try again. only prime it the recommended amount of times per your manual.
