I decided to bring my hot tub inside and make an indoor hot tub room. But I need some help...

1. What is the best type of vapor barrier wall covering for underneath cedar?

2. Where can I find the right ventilation system that can handle the water vapor from the hot tub?

3. I have matte finish non-slip tile for the flooring, but do I need special trim along the walls?

4. Is there any thing else I should keep in mind?

5. The hot tub will be placed near an exterior wall. What should I do to make sure later I will be able to fill and drain the tub properly?

The room will be heated and the floor suports are very adequate for holding a full hot tub. Thanks for your help!

I just moved into my apartment and the windows are horrifying. The panes are all cracked, have old lumpy paint, holes, etc. I can't get new windows because I'm renting. Who would "specialize" in doing these sorts of repairs? A painter? A jack of all trades handy man? I couldn't do it myself because of the severity of it.

A few months back I had squirrels eating up my fascia and gutters. I spent a large amount of money replacing my fascia and gutters and having my fascia covered with a metal covering to try to deter the squirrels from coming back. When the squirrels came back and again tried chewing through the fascia I had a pest control company come out and get rid of some of the squirrels for me which was not cheap either. This morning I woke up to the sound of scratching on my upstairs window and found that the squirrels have eaten through the top of the window and eaten half of the wood at the top. So now I am going to have to replace the entire window. I am at my wits end with these squirrels. Stopping short of shooting at the squirrels and learning how to make squirrel soup (*note sarcasm*), I dont know what else to do. Has anyone had issues with squirrels? How did you remedy the problem? I know squirrels are cute but when they cost you thousands of dollars they tend to lose the cuteness factor.

I was going to replace existing lights on exterior of my home. The old ones stopped working before installing the new ones. I think I connected everything correctly but don't have power going to them. Checked around breaker panel and didn't see anything wrong there. The other switch on the same plate works for another set of lights. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

the flickering is not associated with anything coming on or off. Contractor said it wasn't caused by them and power company said its not them, another is saying it could be ground wire. All I know this wasn't happening in sept.2006
