Everthing u have said is wrong you shouldnt have a ceiling rose in a bathroom, it should be a batton holder (flush to the ceiling no flex hanging down) because of the steam its a saftey issue..

Don't bother get a part p registered firm to do it for you due to the regulations now regarding bathrooms/kitchens....

Ceiling roses in bathroom , I know that you have to have the switch adjacent to the door, what do you mean when you say ceiling roses your source of power should go through your switch. then onto your lights
