I used creosote to coat posts for horse corrals, once it would get on hands, that was hard enough to get off! On the clothes-- pretty much a done deal! ON FOR LIFE!

Creosote Stain

Dawn Dish soap and a little scrubby pad. Wet the area, apply a drop or two, depending on how big the spot, then use the scrubby pad and a little elbow grease scrub the soap into the stain, rinse, and redo until the stain is gone. Do Not put it into the dryer until the stain is gone, otherwise it's there forever. Another little trick to help would be bleach, just a little, if the fabric has color, use color safe bleach with the dish soap. But usually just a little Dawn dishsoap and a little elbow grease does the trick just fine. We had some kittens who fell into a creasote oil mix that we were using for fence posts and we used Dawn dishsoap on the kittens to remove the toxic creasote, cleaned them up just fine and they went on to live happy healthy lives. Dawn Dish soap is the best cleaning agent to remove any type of grease from anywhere, so use some on your clothes, you'll be amazed. Good luck.

That is a very tough stain! Try Go-jo, it might work. Also, my favorite stain and oil remover, Dawn dish soap. Make sure all the stain is out before you run your cloths through the dryer. You can always retreat and rewash.

Remove as much as you can with WD-40 and then use detergent right on the spots.

"Goof Off" of "Goo Gone" will do the trick. Purchase at Home Depot/Lowe's.
