Focus do some nice ones. You can buy narrow ones there and even half ones so that they will stand flat against the wall. Wilkinsons also sell fibre optic ones at a reasonable cost.

Tesco (for the cheapest but probably not the nicest), Ikea, Argos or the Freemans catalogue (for the more expensive but nicer looking trees).

In the USA, try WalMart first, and the other discount stores. If you can't find what you need there, try some Craft Stores like Michael's or Hobby Lobby.

For starters I say get silver and white, you can get some really nice white ones with silver glitter on and stuff like that, then you basically just choose another colour of your choice, it could be red, green, blue, purple, orange, pink, anything really :P
