my niece had fake nails that she was putting on with nail glue (super glue). she got it all over my solid oak dresser. does anyone know how to remove glue from the wood without damaging it?

lay a piece of dry ice over the glue for about 20 seconds then lightly tap the glue with a hammer wrapped in a single later of towel it should come right off be careful in handling the dry ice it will burn your hand you can get it at some grocery stores they use it to keep you food cold on a long trip home.

Finger Nail Polish Remover...Might Remove The Varnish Also So Try On Small Spot First...But Will Absolutly Without A Doubt Remove Super Glue...I Thought Everyone Knew This Already Though So......

Go to a nail place or Sally's Beauty Supply or someplace where you can buy whatever they use on peoples nails to remove the glue. This shouldn't be too strong since they use it on your nails around skin. I would then test a small area somewhere that doesn't show.

That sucks , my daughters got nail polish remover all over my new dinning room table so I know how you feel . they do make super glue removers or you could try a razor blade I think I'd try a blow dryer to see if It'll shrivel up when heated but if some one suggest nail polish remover,don't try it I'm refinishing my new table already.

forget it you'll never be able to get it off without taking some finish with it. I think acetone will neutralize super glue but it also will take off the finish. Just focus on what to do to repair it and don't waste your energy on trying to save it. Its not a big deal at all anyone can apply finish nowadays.good luck

So i think he's gonna rip the carpet/tile up with him to snatch a towel to cover himself....? perchance the Balsa wood will help... extra advantageous Edit: He could have used a telephone... it would not hve to be a working laptop or computing gadget, yet why could you have a telephone mutually as bare?? nicely, i assume if ur development an aeroplane bare why not have a telephone in attain too? :D Why do not you call emergency help, i'm specific they're going to get a kick out of this.

use nail polish remover, may harm the lacquer finish, but this can be fixed by lightly sanding the area and recoating the area with new lacquer coating.

trying rubbing alcohol. I hate to tell you to scrape it, that'll leave marks
