I have a Janitrol Goodman GDPS100-3 (1990). The pilot light stays lit, the flames come on, then the flames go out - then I hear the ignitor. This happens over and over. Flames out, ignition, flames, flames out, ignition, flame. So I change the thermocouple, I notice there is no flame sensor. What can I do to fix this?

Is it time to get a new furnace?

Thanks!

I tried a little copper plumbing this weekend.

I soldered a ball valve while it was upside down, and am a little worried about it. It hasn't leaked with the water pressure on. Is this good enough? Should I still worry?

I'm an adult living with my Mother and we live in a very large, old house with tons of antiques that collect dust. When my parents were together when I was a child, we had a housekeeper. However, I my Mom and my sister and I did housework and yardwork as well. I'll admit that I'm lazy but I'm a little bit more overwhelmed. I can't expect my 66 yr. old mother to do all this and we can't afford help right now. Oh, did I mention we have a large yard with tons of trees and about a million leaves that need raking? The house is getting really gross and dusty and I'm a nervous wreck, please give me suggestions and don't tell me to get off my lazy you know what or I'll report you. Please help.

We had some very old linoleum that we removed, but there is still a thick layer of a paper-like material and glue under that. It's very difficult to remove. We have a product that is supposed to remove the glue, but the paper is taking forever. Advice?

i bought an autographed pic that came with a plain white piece of paper that simply said "this is a certificate of authenticity and is 100% real" and then is signed by the person who gave it to me. It looks cheap and home computer generated....so how do i know this is real?

I have grown an avocado plant from seed, it is now about 18" tall, but all of a sudden the leaves seem to be dying. Could it be the temperature change? What are the optimal growing conditions for an avocado?

My apartment is a mess. I just can't keep it clean. It's disgusting. I can barely walk through it and I still have stuff in boxes and bags from when I moved in LAST YEAR. I don't have much time off from work. Just a couple of hours at night and 4 hours on Sunday away from the office. I'm exhausted from work, too. But..even when I have had it clean, It only stays that way for a couple of days!!!! I'm miserable with it like this!

I have a plastic stick-on hook that I would like to remove from the back of a masonite door. I have not been able to detach it as it is stuck on like I can't believe. I wouldn't want to damage any part of the door but wouldn't mind if it took some finish off of the part that is covered now.
Serious answers please. The hook part has broken, and I am trying to replace it. Thanks for your help.

I am putting down a laminated floor in my kitchen.
Does the floor have to be perfectly flat and smooth? The floor there now was covered by ceramic tile and was put down incorrectly. Therer is a lot of the cement on the floor and I have had to patch several places with plywood to remove rotton boards.
