And now it won't piece back together again, it's like the blocks have expanded, has anyone got any idea what to do. This happened about 5 weeks ago so they have all dried out.

If you try to put them back in, and they are still too large, try putting them in the microwave for a minute. That will remove more of the moisture and shrink them. If they are still too large, use a sanding block to shave the edges to fit back in. Hardwood parquet may look dry, but it will retain water inside, all too often they will not be the same size again.

It depends on whether the blocks have gone back to their original size, so they could be re-laid. In my experience, when once wood has been wet, even tho' it's dried, it is never the same again. Could be a total new job.

parquet flooring.Wet and dried out now and wont fit.The edge that wont fit or evenly around the tile sand down or cut to fit.It shouldnt be to much out of size.Get someone with a saw to help if you have to cut off each edge.
