The room is large and has 9 windows and oak hardwood floors. The room has beautiful cherry wood trim that goes everywhere in the house. The house is approximately 80 years old. My furniture is ecru.

i was thinking of pouring bleach in there, but that would be useless, the bleach would go down before it does anything.

i took the drain stopper out and banged that in a trash can and then was able to clean that, and used a spoon to clean some of the drain, but i'm sure there is more mold, what can i do?

This is for packaging foodstuffs. Need a floor that can be washed down. I don't know what restaurants use, but there must be some special product/material? And for the walls - use a special paint? plastic panels? Thanks for your help.

I live in a 2 story town house and it is always colder in the winter upstairs. Why? I thought heat rises. In the summer the up stairs always stays hot. I closed some of the vents down stairs and it still hasn't helped. There are fewer vents per room upstairs is that maybe why? We have already been setting the heat at 74 at night and it is so cold up stairs. During the day when i am downstairs I turn it to 70 and it's fine. What the heck can i do to control my bills this winter?

I thought the reason for doing so it is that it was supposed to keep food particles from the disposal getting into the dishwasher. And I vaguely remember water from the dishwasher empyting into the sink. So there was some way in which the dishwasher and the disposal were connected. My roommate never heard of running the disposal before the dishwasher.

My husband thinks that the adhesive will take up enough room between tile and underlay to not have to worry about punching all the nails in completely. Is this true? What will happen if we just go straight over the nails that are still protruding a little bit?

i was told that if you use rubbing alcohol to clean a diamond ring it will make it really shiny. but im paranoid that it may cause damage in the long run.

I am installing wood floors in 3 bedrooms. Only can empty, install, and replace one at a time. So that means sander rental 3 times. I would rather invest in a sander to own. If anyone has used a modest sander in the 200.00 price range that works well on wood floors let me know. Thank You

I am looking for the three-seater and two single seater sofa set and my budget is between, 45K to 60K. I went to a few places but they all have sofas that are fit for a hotel lobby - huge but little effective seating space.

I live in an apartment that is heated by very, very old radiators on the second floor of a two unit building. The room where the thermostat is stays warm so the heat keeps turning off before any of the other rooms warm up. How can I heat my WHOLE apartment without turning the thermostat to 90+ degrees?

It is a two story house (central air) and the one room upstairs gets really hot while the room next door stays really cold. It matters little that I cover the vents in the hot room and open them wide up in the cold room. How do I fix or whom do I contact? Thanks!

The bathroom is on the other side of my kitchen. I can hear water dripping in the wall under my kitchen cabinets. Does this sound like a busted pipe and would it leak under the wall in the bathroom next to it? It has gotten really bad in the past 2 days. Are there any plumbing experts out there to give a little advice? The plumbing from my big bathroom is fine. The little bathroom's sink works fine, but the toilet will not flush well. It comes all the way to the top before it slowly goes down. The water is coming in from the under the wall next to toilet. So, what do you think? Any help would be appreciated before I spend big bucks on a plumber. Thanks.

The reset button will need to be pushed every 4-12 hours (random intervals) to get the heat to kick on. It then comes up to temperature and maintains the correct temp for a random amoutn of time before needing to be reset again.. Any ideas? We just had the unit serviced! it seemed to work better before.. ..

Thanks
