i was thinking of pouring bleach in there, but that would be useless, the bleach would go down before it does anything.

i took the drain stopper out and banged that in a trash can and then was able to clean that, and used a spoon to clean some of the drain, but i'm sure there is more mold, what can i do?

There are several things which will destroy mold. Do not mix any of them. You can try Bio-Clean or similar bio-active products, bleach, hydrogen peroxide, or commercial drain cleaners like Drano. You have a trap under the drain which will contain your cleaner until you pour something else in.

EEEEEoooow! Ick. Pour some bleach down there, enough to fill the "S" trap, this should do it or, spray some "Raid" down there, then start cleaning the darn thing.

I think that bleach is the answer, but try it in a spray bottle. It will disperse it and trickle down instead of rolling down.

this may sound stupid, but mix coke and baking soda and vinagar and then pour it down the drain all at once. it really works.
