We have to wait for a long time to get hot water from the faucets, during winter, coz of water filled in the pipes getting cold. Is there any way we can maintain the temperature on pipes or any special kind of pipes available in the market? It is irritating me to wait for really...really...long time.

Yes it's a dilemma.
So I washed my new sweater, except i didn't read the label and didn't see that it was wool. It shrunk after that because i put it in the dryer too >.<
Is there any way i can undo this..or make it bigger again to its original size?

We moved into our house one year ago, but I was wondering and seriously considering buying a carbon Monoxide detector because we have a furnace. We bought them for our house in the UK, just to be safe, but the house was like typical houses in the UK oldish. Since our house in the US is newer, should we need to still buy a detector? Thank You.

When you are gifted with, or buy, fresh flowers you get a little packet of powder to add to the water to feed the flowers and keep them fresh. That is supposed to be done every 3 or 4 days so the flowers outlast the flower food. Anyone have a good home recipe?

I,am about to start a tiling project using porcelain tile and was wondering if there is a special thinset I need to use in order to tile porcelain. I currently have a vinyl sheet flooring which has plywood underneath and was wondering if i could apply the thinset directly over the vinyl floor or if its better to apply it to the plywood itself in order to attach backerboard or do I even need to apply backboard and should I just tile over the vinyl flooring or plywood. I would like to use a premixed thinset if possible. Any suggestions would be helpful.

My parents recently moved into a new house and would like to get some lights to line their walkway. They need to be bright enough for my mother to see the path, but they don't like the cool toned lights. Does anyone know of a good brand/model of solar light that might fit the bill? I've been researching this and am having a hard time finding something other than the white LED lights which I know would be the cool toned they don't like.

Thanks in advance for all your help!

Besides the usual pet bedding, can you recycle shredded paper, are there other uses for the reams of junk mail?

Ok, I don't think I'm doing anything wrong with the watering side of things.

How much sunshine should the plant get, and is this direct sunlight (as in very hot sun) or will this burn it.

I have nothing more than miserable looking wilted plants that turn yellow after a few weeks, so any tips? Soil type, position?

I am trying to come up with an idea for an image that relates to what maintinence to the interior of a home helps prevent damage to it. Ex. By allowing sunlight in it helps prevent mold, or by venting air it helps prevent moisture buildup, or preventing rust and corrosion in a water heater and so on...
Basically, what image or picture comes to mind when you think of this??

I swear it sticks so much better - took me nearly half an hour to get the stuff off my table this morning!!

(yes I know I should have cleaned it straightaway but I had 4 noisy little boys to get out of the house door and into the school one!!)
