Besides the usual pet bedding, can you recycle shredded paper, are there other uses for the reams of junk mail?

Put it under your ornamentals to prevent weeds. It may have dangerous inks, so I wouldn't use it in the veggie garden.

You could also use it for cushioning packages, and to make nests for Easter eggs.

In theory, you could make a bean bag out of it, but I think you'd be replacing the paper every week.

Bon fire, maybe? Check your local fire department rules.

Also, many communties now take paper for recycling.

And, in the States, there is a way to get off the junk mail lists. Just search the phrase "stop junk mail" and you'll get lots of hits.

You can start your own worm farm or donate it to someone who has one. They love paper and reduce it to soil in just a few months.

You may be able to donate it to a local club, school or craft place for making paper mache products, or you could use it in your compost for mulch. Whatever you choose, thanks for recycling!
Good Luck!

Till it up in your garden. It'll eventually decompose.

It burns well and you can use it for insulation in your house. Unfortunately it burns well too.
