mhHH dark red walls, this will make the room look smaller so you need something bright to lighten it up.
I would go with Ivory collored thin material with a nice vallance that accents it nicely. Either that or a bright white. A wooden or iron curtain rod. You could also you white curtain and then a matching (to your walls) scarf to lay on top of it. Then you can pin it with needles for the best way you like the scarf to fall.

Chocolate, white, black, cream; honestly a number of colors will look good with dark red walls, it just depends on what the FURNITURE and accessories in the room look like as well.
Just be sure to be mindful of everything else, besides the curtains, that will need to "flow" with the decor, so yoru room will not look tacky.

Dark red walls will take most colors. The best I can imagine are, white or cream curtains with red print (flowers/abstracts) on them.

Off white curtains, with gauze or lace underneath .. also there are some prints that are in tones of white ... being called white-on white
which are pretty .... and you can get pull shades to match.
Also, you might wish to change them with the
seasons .... a white for winter, a rose-print for
spring, an abstract print or plaid, a toile print
for summer ...

It depends on the furniture in your room to determine the color curtains. I will say a gold tone or beige. See photo below

mustard yellow
cream/off white
if u have dark cherry wood furniture and gold/red accents, it can look really classy, with Rich colors like the mustard yellow. that look is really in. try putting up a lot of mirrors too, with ornate gold/bronze trim, to cut down on the darkness.

My grasp suite is crimson and my fixtures is black. We went with an off-white/cream bedspread with cherry blossoms on it, The crimson cherry blossoms experience the wall so it completely tied each thing in collectively. however the cream somewhat lightened the room up adequate so it would not look as though a cave. If each thing is black and crimson it is going to likely be very darkish and depressing.
